Did you know that you can get free admissions to major museums in US?
Apply for Bank of America credit or debit card. It is this simple.
The program is called Museums on Us and anyone with a Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, or Bank of America (U.S. Trust) debit or credit card (including authorized users) can take advantage of it.
Important: Offer valid ONLY during the first full weekend (Sat and Sun) of each month. You need to bring photo Id and and a valid debit or credit card. Only card holders are getting this offer so make sure everyone in your party has one to get free access.
How it works?
Just show you card at the ticket booth when you come on designated weekend and they let you in Free. 1 person per Card only.
What makes unique in my opinion is that it offers free access to the museums in every state and while you can also get access to museums through your local library or other local programs, your choice would be limited to local venues. Bofa gives you free general admission to more than 225 cultural institutions in dozens of cities across the US.
You can only use it one weekend in a month but if you time your travel right that pays off.
Af far the card goes, any would work but I personally liked their Travel Reward Card.
